Introducing the Great Midwest Magg Race 2008, to be held on Saturday, August 16 at the TWA launch at the Bong. This year’s rendition includes the classic Loc Minie Magg, and it’s mate the Aerotech I357T. This year’s contest is spot landing, with a twist. There will be four markers in the field surrounding the pads. Each marker will correspond with a prize. The rocket that lands closest to each marker, wins the prize that corresponds with that respective marker.

Tim Lehr of Wildman Rocketry has once again stepped up to sponsor the drag race by offering the kit and motor at significantly discounted prices for drag racers. Note that you MUST participate in the drag race to receive the following prices. You can purchase the Minie Magg kit/I357T combo from Wildman for 25% off retail, $109.95. For those of you that already have a Magg in hand, the I357T reload kit is also discounted 25%, available for $27.71 for participants.
