I saw/used Low-power pads each of the several TRA launches I attended last year, so I was surprised when there weren't any at the March launch.

Will there be some this weekend? Was March an exception & usually you always do have low-power rods available?

If not, can I bring my own & put it next to a mid/high power pad? It's actually a sturdy, H capable one I made out of a tripod, not som flimsy Estes thing.

I would bet that they have one this month but why take a chance. If no one reply I say bring it, I will have a 29mm motor rocket that I will want to launch that uses a rod. After this I am going to look at making a 38mm for a level 1 cert but before that I want to see how well this does.

They had rods last time...the big, 1/4" or whatever size, though. I need(ed) the small, estes-class ones, and they just don't work in the HP pads where the big rods do.

I'll bring my own pad, in case.
