Unless you needed a high ceiling Saturday, the weather was really not bad. For a change the wind was not blowing directly to the lake or swamp. I've been an RSO many times, but when a Ghost, Mushroom, and Christmas Candle show up, you know it's goint to be an interesting day. I have posted some photos on my site.

Al, I agree. I flew my high flying stuff on Sudnay after beign RSO from 11 until 2. I flew my glassed, dual deploy, LOC Vulcanite on a J420 to 6695'. Everything (including thankfully the Walston) worked great, but it caught enough breeze to end up on the edge of the lake/swamp to the north of the launch site. Kevin Harnack, being the great guy he is, helped me find it, and even went in after my rocket. The rocket might be trashed do to water soaking, but the chute, motor, altimeter, and associated parts are good.

Thanks for all the memories, Al. Your photos take me back to the good times...
